PARIS 2nd Annual Meeting

The 2-days meeting, attended by more than 70 participants, provided a comprehensive overview of the PARIS project’s progress across work packages, highlighting advancements in top-down and bottom-up reconciliation, modelling, and observational infrastructure. 

Key achievements included the continued development and deployment of tools such as FLUXY, the integration of atmospheric measurements across multiple sites and species, and enhanced collaboration with national inventory teams. 

The Scientific Advisory Board acknowledged the project’s substantial progress and confirmed it is on track, highlighting notable advancements in measurement, modelling, and stakeholder collaboration, including the development of tools such as FLUXY and work with inventory compilers. 

The project’s relevance to both scientific research and policy was recognized, with increasing interest from international stakeholders. Discussions highlighted the importance of sustaining activities beyond the project’s timeline and available resources.
