PARIS took the lead to elevate the visibility of the project group PARIS, AVENGERS and EYE-CLIMA on European policy level and prepared a joint presentation for the Working Group 1 meeting in Brussels in March 2024. This meeting, which included representatives from each Member State, DG Clima, and EEA, provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the projects during the AOB section. The member state representatives, who coordinate national emissions inventories and are knowledgeable both politically and scientifically, discuss the current emissions status reported to the EEA. They address questions and challenges encountered during the reporting phase. The meeting was a valuable opportunity to inform the member states and highlighting the approach of PARIS, EYE-CLIMA and AVENGERS.
